Intensive Reiki Course for International Visitors
Our intensive program is designed especially for people visiting Japan and for students travelling to Tokyo from overseas or distant regions.
It gives you the opportunity to study Reiki directly with an experienced Japanese Reiki Master while making practical use of your limited time in Japan.
We traditionally recommend a period of personal practice between Usui Reiki Levels 1–2 and Level 3. However, international visitors may not be able to return to Japan one month later.
For this reason, we offer a carefully structured two-day Usui Reiki Levels 1–3 intensive course for international students and provide guidance on how to continue practising after returning home.

The two-day Usui Reiki Levels 1–3 intensive set course costs ¥110,000.
This includes direct instruction by Ryusei Seike, attunements, English course materials, practical exercises and a digital certificate for each completed course.
English-Speaking Female Reiki Master Support
Ryusei Seike personally conducts every course and attunement.
For international students who would like additional English-language support, an English-speaking female Reiki Master may be arranged as an assistant and interpreter.
Because she is a trained Reiki Master, she can assist not only with language communication but also with explanations during Reiki instruction and practical training.
This can be especially helpful when detailed explanations or subtle concepts need to be communicated clearly in English.
English Reiki Master Support Fee

This support is available for Reiki training courses only.
The English-speaking Reiki Master must be arranged in advance, and availability is subject to confirmation.
Private Reiki healing sessions are normally conducted directly by Ryusei Seike without an interpreter.
Go Beyond Usui Reiki During Your Stay
One feature that distinguishes our school from many Reiki courses in Japan is the opportunity to study Usui Reiki, Kundalini Reiki and Imara Reiki during one visit.
Kundalini Reiki
Kundalini Reiki is offered as an optional advanced course for students who would like to expand their energy practice.
The course fee is ¥50,000.
Imara Reiki
Imara Reiki is another optional advanced energy-healing system available during an extended stay.
The course fee is ¥30,000.
Reiki Master Training in Japan
Students who complete the required training and wish to learn how to pass attunements and teach Reiki may request Usui Reiki, Kundalini Reiki and Imara Reiki Master Training.
The Master Training fee is ¥120,000.
If your stay in Japan allows sufficient time, we can discuss adding Master Training to your individual schedule.
Admission to Master Training is not automatic. It is confirmed after discussing your previous Reiki experience, training, goals and readiness.

Digital Reiki Certificate
After successfully completing the two-day Usui Reiki Levels 1–3 intensive training, you will receive an official Usui Reiki Level 3 digital certificate in PDF format by email.
For international students, certificates are normally issued digitally rather than as printed paper certificates. This allows you to safely keep your certificate after returning to your home country and print it yourself if required.

Ryusei Seike — Founder and Reiki Master
Ryusei Seike founded Shonan Natural Healing Institute in 2004 and has more than 20 years of experience practising and teaching Reiki and Japanese healing methods.
He is an Usui Reiki, Kundalini Reiki and Imara Reiki Master and has taught both Japanese students and international visitors.
All classes and attunements described on this page are conducted directly by Ryusei Seike, with an assistant Reiki Master present when arranged in advance.
His work is also informed by long-term study and experience of the Kojiki, Shinto shrines, Zen meditation and Japanese spiritual culture.
Students can therefore encounter Reiki not only as an energy practice, but also within the broader spiritual and cultural context of Japan.

Reiki Lineage and Teaching Approach
Our principal training is based on Usui Reiki, the system that originated in Japan through Mikao Usui.
The history of Reiki, the teacher’s training and the Reiki lineage are explained during the course.
We place importance on direct experience as well as theory.
Students learn through attunements, self-treatment, hands-on exercises and repeated practice.
The aim is not simply to receive a certificate in a short period, but to leave Japan with a clear foundation for continuing Reiki responsibly after returning home.
Tokyo Reiki Training Location
Meguro, Tokyo
The intensive course is held in Meguro, with convenient access from central Tokyo.
It is suitable for international visitors staying in Tokyo who would like to study Reiki in person with an experienced Japanese Reiki Master.

Shonan, Chigasaki
Reiki sessions and selected training may also be arranged in Chigasaki, Shonan, a peaceful coastal area of Kanagawa Prefecture.

Reiki Training and Japanese Spiritual Culture
Our main program is a structured Reiki training course rather than a sightseeing retreat.
However, international students who would like to experience Reiki within the wider spiritual culture of Japan may also ask about Shinto shrines, Buddhist temples, meditation and related Japanese spiritual experiences, subject to schedule and availability.
These optional experiences are arranged separately and are not automatically included in the Reiki course fee.
When Should I Book Reiki Training in Japan?
If you are travelling to Japan specifically to study Reiki, we recommend contacting us at least 3 months before your preferred training dates.
International students often need to coordinate their Reiki training with international flights, hotels and their travel itinerary.
For this reason, some students begin planning their Reiki training 3 to 6 months before arriving in Japan.
Early contact is especially recommended if:
- You have fixed travel dates in Japan
- You would like to complete Usui Reiki Levels 1–3 over two days
- You would like to study Kundalini Reiki or Imara Reiki during the same trip
- You would like an English-speaking female Reiki Master to assist with your training
- You are interested in Reiki Master Training
Requests made less than 3 months before your preferred training dates may still be considered depending on our schedule, but we cannot guarantee availability.

Booking and Payment
- Contact us with your planned travel dates, preferred training dates, selected courses and number of participants.
- We will check Ryusei Seike’s schedule and, if requested, the availability of the English-speaking female Reiki Master.
- We will contact you by email with a proposed schedule and total fee.
- After the schedule has been agreed, payment must be completed at least 7 days before the first course day.
- After payment is confirmed, we will email your English course materials.
- Your exact location and arrival instructions will be sent before the course.
- After successfully completing your training, your digital certificate will be issued in PDF format by email.
